Steps Taken to ensure safety of patients & staff
– Patients MUST have a Face Mask at all times
– All staff MUST have face masks at all times
– Patients’ temperature will be checked immediately when they walk in and hand sanitizer will be applied to hands immediately
– Most forms are found and filled online to provide a touch-less environment as much as possible, at https://trucaremd.com/forms/
– Social distancing of at least 6 feet between patients strictly enforced
– Limiting patients in the waiting room, by quick check in to the exam room and limiting wait in the waiting room.
– Wiping and sanitization of Blood pressure cuffs and vital signs equipment after each use
– Wiping and sanitization of exam rooms after each patient (door knobs, exam tables, counter surfaces…)
– Cleaning of waiting rooms and other areas in the office several times during the day
– Quick Check out to limit time in the office ( A lot of check out procedures such as labs, referrals etc can be done electronically via secure HIPAA emails)
– Your Physician will have a face mask and gloves throughout the visit
